Gordon Peter Grover
A much loved family man who will always be remembered. Details of the funeral can be found below. Please no flowers, but if you wish, donations can be made through this site to Woking Hospice which provided support and care to him not just in his final days, but also in the months beforehand. We will also be donating to Cancer Research UK, specifically to research into Oesophageal cancer. If you would prefer to donate to this organisation, there will be a collection box at the service.

Thoughts
Gordon, so much has happened since you left me 4 years ago, and everyone’s life has changed especially during the past year, but one thing that has not changed nor will ever change, and that is my love for you and how much I miss you. You will always walk beside me until I am with you once more. xxxx

There aren't enough words to express the gratitude I have with regards to Gordon. He was such a warm, kind man, and thought nothing of going out of his way to help others; I was the recipient of his generosity more times than I can remember. I hope he realized what a huge influence he was on mine and many others lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart; I miss him.

Candles
3 years ago a light went out in my life which can never be relit, but with the love and care from my wonderful children and all my family, life has gone on and been made bearable. I light this candle in memory of my very dear husband and the life we shared together. Gone but always loved and never forgotten.

You're still on my mind over a year later, and always will be. I know you never really believed in such things, but I like to think that you're watching over us during these difficult times. Scientists have found water in an underground lake on Mars; I wanted to tell you somehow because I know you would have been excited at the discovery right along with me. You were a great grandfather. I love you.
