We first met Gordon in the early 1960's when he came into Liz's life. Over the ensuing years, we have greatly enjoyed and treasured their friendship. We have many happy memories of holidays and weekends spent together with our respective children and, more latterly, just the four of us. Gordon was a kind and compassionate man and, not least, an excellent host. We will miss him greatly but will always remember him with great fondness. Chris and Colin
